Sometimes you just can’t make up this stuff!

Reille Hunter, the (former?) mistress of former Senator John Edwards (D-NC), finally spoke out about the affair. The lovely Miss Hunter apparently told Barbara Walters that, upon seeing the photographs of herself in the GQ article, she “cried for two hours” and called them “repulsive.”

OK, stop right there. Miss Hunter posed for the photographs taken by Mark Seliger! Miss Walters said that Miss Hunter had told her that she “trusted” the photographer to take only “classy” photographs.

Uh huh.

I’m unable to grasp how Mr Seliger could have taken pictures of Miss Hunter lounging around in a man’s dress shirt and no pants if Miss Hunter hadn’t been walking around in a man’s dress shirt and no pants. Just what kind of “classy” photographs did she think could be taken of her without pants?

You can read the interview here. I only made it through three pages of the interview when I couldn’t take any more.

This b!tch makes Monica Lewinsky look like Liz Taylor. Not even Annie Leibovitz could make her look “Classy”. Trash is as trash does.

    ‘Nuff said.

  2. It’s dumb blondes like this that give blondes a bad name.

Put your pants on, honey, and keep them on – for your daughter’s sake.

  3. First Elizabeth and now Reille, ya got to hand it to that old sly porn dog, Shifty Johnny, he may be nothin’ but a two-faced double-talkin’ bambulance chaser, but he sure can pick ‘um.

BTW, Hunter ought to stop trashing the photographer, he made her look a heck of a lot better than she ever did before, and props to the hair and make-up staff, impressive job. The whole team deserves a bonus.

Sure, the pics are wildly inappropriate, and Rielly’s nearly as crazy as Elizabeth. Now, I don’t like it, but I gotta say it: Reilly never looked half as fetching. So, if ol’ Johnny can stay out of the slammer, and goin’ on looks alone without considering the economics, Reilly represents a clear visual upgrade, but she’s likely to cost more down the road.

I didn’t even get that far, Dana.

This entire affair is too bizarre, including all three parties: Narcissistic Johnny, belligerent Elizabeth, and opportunistic Reille.

And then we have the children involved with this threesome — these are the real victims!

To think that Johnny was a viable contender to be President. OMG!

Do these three represent the dysfunction that has crept into our entire nation?

  5. SNARK ALERT!!! THIS IS NOT MEANT TO BE SERIOUS!!!

Perry, I’ll have you know all three of those were liberals. So it is obvious that it’s only liberals who are this dysfunctional.

Never were a supporter of John Edward’s candidacy, eh?

  7. There have been stories for more than a year now that there is a John Edwards/Reille Hunter sex tape in existence. Supposedly, numerous people have seen it and described it, but until it’s actually produced, I don’t think we can say that yeah, it really exists.

But the Daily Caller put it this way:

Rumors of this tape have been floating around for at least a year, but most people assumed Edwards couldn’t be stupid and arrogant and crazy enough to allow something like this to exist. He could’ve been Vice President. He could’ve been President of the United States. The hanky-panky behind the back of his cancer-stricken wife is bad enough, but taping it? What a dolt! And we’re supposed to be worried about Palin?

  8. The first thing that I thought was that she should stop whining, those pictures (that I saw in the media–I haven’t bother to go to GQ) are the best I ever saw of her. It is the first time that I thought she looked hot and not just like a bimbo. The second is how dumb does she think we are? This was not some picture taken while she was in between changing. These were a series in a shoot. The third thing was that she couldn’t be so deluded to really mean that.

Then I hear her say that she is not a home wrecker because Elizabeth is such an abusive wife. Yeah, she knows her husband is risking everything and is doing her best to save him. She is hurt, possibly dying, and has young children to think about while he and Hunter are off on some insane affair. I hope that John learns from this and is more loyal to Hunter when the time comes than he was to Elizabeth.

I agree pretty much with everything Perry said. As long as we have Ensign, Sanford, Vitter, Gingrich and others, I doubt that we can even joke about this being a liberal thing. It seems to be a human thing. I don’t even disqualify someone for it. The problem that I have with Edwards is that he kept compounding it. Lied about the baby, had a staffer pretend to have the affair, did pay offs but not quite, disrespected his wife who was trying to give her last measure of devotion to him and his life goals. Hunter directly attacking Elizabeth is something about her character. This was not just a bad decision on the part of John and Hunter or just falling in love. It is a serious character flaw which pervades everything.
