Greenpeace Demonstrationsurolighederne i København er meget dumt

OK, OK, I don’t speak Danish; I used an online translator¹. This was inspired by the Hairy Beast’s (intentionally) badly translated title:

Greenenthugen Rioten In Der Streeten Copenhagen: Pretty Dambääden.

Isn’t it odd that whenever you get a bunch of Greenpeace types together in a group, violence ensues?  But nobody ever makes the connection.  If violence on this scale had occurred at a Conservative rally, don’t you think the left would be making political hay out of it? “Now we see the violence inherent in the movement! Census Takers will dangle from every tree. Rush will be proclaimed Chancellor of the Republic and Glen Beck will roam the streets with his mob bashing in the windows at every Health Food store.”

But when the streets swarm green and the gutters run red it doesn’t reflect badly on the movement at all. Strange how that works…

These Ain’t Your Father’s Hippies.

Perhaps our friends on the left mock the “tea party” protests precisely because they aren’t violent. Maybe they don’t think that protesters can be serious if they aren’t tearing up something.

  1. You realize you’re trying to generalize about liberals by talking about Greenpeace, right? That’s kinda like trying to extrapolate information about conservatives by looking at the Montana Freemen.

  2. I wonder how many anecdotes are required to form a datum. Those pink ladies aren’t very lady-like. Leftist groups protesting on college campuses, throwing rocks through windows because a professor had the temerity to have a non-left speaker discuss a non-left position. Other leftist groups vandalizing private property and threatening the well-being of those inside. “Gay rights” people threatening violence toward those who campaign against homosexual marriage. Anti-war crowds vandalizing recruitment centers. I mean the list goes on and on.

  3. Actually, Greenpeace got punked as well. Activists raised some banners on the Rainbow Warrior debunking the climate hoax and denouncing the propaganda. Saw it a Gateway Pundit.

Plus, I’ve got a post you might get a kick out of, ‘Superhuman Blogging!’. Thanks Dana! Have a great Christmas and stay warm in that blizzard out there!

  4. Yes, it is amazing. When so many people, conservative and otherwise, showed up at the Town Hall meetings in protest of the health care bill, the Dems and media described them as angry mobs. Yet, the main stream media barely covered the union thugs that were sent out to intimidate peaceable protesters, and in some case inflict violence on them.

Contrast that with Greenpeace rallies, protests during the RNC that require riot police, etc.

Why is it that these people that supposedly abhor violence and war, are the ones who have their protests end in violence?

  5. Why is it that these people that supposedly abhor violence and war, are the ones who have their protests end in violence?

Because in their eyes, they are always justified in their behaviors, therefore they’re always off the hook. Convenient, no? We must understand that their standard of behavior is somehow holier and worthier, too, than the rest who protest – especially those angry mobs of Tea Party protesters…because nothing screams violence like middle-aged, middle class citizens waving their evil inspired signs telling the President, Hands Off My Health Care!

  6. Another thing about these protesters in this picture: Why do they obscure their faces? Why don’t they *own* their voice and their protest? What are they afraid of? Because I look at them and immediately write them off as too chickenshit to make a stand with full disclosure. Are they afraid of mom and dad’s scowl of disapproval, their bosses, people they might know who don’t know this about them? It reminds me of the terrorists from various countries who make these videos and don’t show their faces. While intimidating on one level, ultimately it just reinforces their cowardice.

    What she said.

Truer words have rarely been spoken!

  9. These thugs want you to do as they say, not as they do. They’re fascists, and they don’t give a damn what you think is right or wrong. They intend to club you into submission or unconsciousness, and move on to the next target.

Take note, these are the Left’s foot soldiers and if left unchecked, they’ll be coming to a neighborhood near you in late October or early November, just in time for the 2010 elections.

  10. Just FYO: We presented our case (about the idiot who complained bout me not hireing him ) and we have to wait for a “finding”. May take one or two months. This shit just keeps gowing on and on. I hate this. It will probibly take at least one more hearing, perhaps two. Once they start this shit it seldom ends without more “negotiations”. I don’t negotiate (case you don’t know). I hate to sound jaded, but this is just crap. It will cost me thousands and in the end the govmint will send me a letter saying they drop the complaint. By then, if all works well, I’ll be out of the business and retired. June (Mrs John C) wants it that way.
I still have more in me no matter what anybody thinks. I DON’T WANT TO RETIRE! Sorry, just yappin’ here. June wants one thing, I want another.

  11. Let’s see: Hitler, National Socialist; Mao, communist; Stalin, communist; PolPot, communist; Castro, communist; Chavez, communist; shall I go on? All great people who murdered anyone who disagreed with them. Et tu, Pho?

You are a fuckin’ communist and anyone who agrees with you is too. Got a problem with that? I’ll pay your air fair, come here and meet me in person, dick head. If you don’t believe me email Dana Pico. I’ll go with whatever he says. I got the cash, you got the balls?

  12. I’ll pay your air fair, come here and meet me in person, dick head.

Yes, but John – you’re a proven liar. Remember?

And also a twit, if you think I’m a communist. Go look it up in a dictionary if you’re capable of using one.

  13. “ropelight, all leftists are fascists. It’s their nature.”

That’s one of the statements that drives the social solidarity pimping, room with no exit, you belong to me left, up the wall.

The late and unlamented blogger (he’s probably still with us in a physical sense) “Jon Swift”, spent a fair amount of hysterical energy attacking Jonah Goldberg before Goldberg’s book was even published.

But, we have been through this argument before.

John, as much as the thought might annoy you, take 15 minutes to read the pathetic bugger’s blog. You’ll see that his life as a troll, is all he has.
