This is FANTASTIC. Norah O’donnell of PMSNBC is taken down 5 pegs by a 17 year old. Smackdown COMPLETE. Watch the video, then read her Blog. For 17, she’s light years ahead of any 17 y.o. that I have seen.

I heard the action on Glenn Beck and on Rush. That reporter woman is ruing the day she chose to tangle with a little girl!
[...] } I heard her on Glenn Beck. I heard about her on Rush. Yorkshire provided a link to the video, which also provided a link to her own blog. This 17-year-old girl [...]
O’donnell was attempting to push her narrative that Palin’s supporters were only starry eyed rubes who didn’t really know anything about the issues.
There were obviously so many people there O’donnell couldn’t undercut Palin by minimizing the size of the turnout, so she went to plan B. She was out to portray them as an ignorent crowd of dupes foolishly paying homage to a false prophet.
The attempted on-air manipulation of a teenage girl in a T shirt backfired in O’donnell’s face, and now it’s O’donnell who’s exposed herself as a fraudulent reporter. She got exactly what she deserves, and it was delivered by a bright young girl who was anything but the dupe O’donnell expected to bully. 3 cheers for the teenager, and O’donnell can put on her dunce cap and sit in the corner till she apologizes.
Norah O’Donnell was not “taken down” at all. Nor was she “manipulating” anybody. These expressions by the Right on here are actually humorous in their desperate attempt to make something out of nothing, showing how weak they know they are, thus choosing to indulge in fabricated hyperbole.
Norah O’Donnell was performing as any good reporter would, and that is, asking important topical questions, with a little bit of ‘devil’s advocate’ approach thrown in. And guess what, she brought out an articulate statement from the 17 year old and the man, thus, a well handled interview, to the credit of the two Palin advocates who, if anything, were more articulate and intelligent than Sarah Palin herself.
Very interesting clip!

To me, a 17 year old with command of the facts and about to knock Norah off stride is a good smackdown. What Norah was expecting was the COBO Hall answer of being a know nothing drone, and got someone who knew her facts instead which made Norah scramble a little. It was not an exact parallel, but in some ways reminded me of the CNN reporter who didn’t get the answer she wanted, proceeded to re-answer the guy the way she wanted.
The fact is that Norah O’Donnell is a liberal. She voted for Obama. She has a template and agenda when she reports. When she criticized Palin, when Palin was the VP candidate, for not being able to take care of her family she failed to report that she herself has 3 children below the age of 5 years. Her husband has 3 restaurants. Norah, how do you take care of your 3 children? The double standard that exists in the liberal media is what bothers people. Many do not remember Norah from the NBC morning show. They only know her CNN work. She has kooky eyes which should be a tip off to anyone that she is a loon. When Norah treats all people objectively then she will be viewed as a professional. Until then she will be a hack reporter. Journalism school teaches reporters to be objective and to set aside their biases and prejudices. O’Donnell, like many of her colleagues, is a liberal who pushes her agenda and her liberal template. The news reporters are biased. Accept it. Admit it. They deliberately select the questions that they ask. Nothing is an accident. Nothing is a mistake. They have producers and editors and directors and assistants. They do little by themselves. They are the talent. There is no heavy lifting in these jobs. Challenging a 17 year old and then lying about her and claiming as Norah did that the teenager voted in the 2008 election is a distortion, fraud, deceit, lying, and corrupt. Congratulations Norah, you are a freak.
Smackdown? I don’t know which type of Republican fallacy this nonsense comes from…
Is it from the flip-flop world where Republicans claim the virtues of the Democrats and impose Republican sins on them?
Or does this derive from the simple distortion of reality that goes along with the mind-set?
Perry made a good point, and I’d like to take it further. If it came down to it, I’d prefer this young girl to Sarah Palin as president. The teen is well-spoken, and I have no evidence that she’d quit the job when it got unpleasant.
Shorter Nangleator: I’m auditioning for a Comedy Central gig.

Well, Biden and Obama quit their senate seats
But of the four candidates, who got the most scrutiny? Of the four, who’s background was more thoroughly checked? Of the four, who only had bogus ethics charges filed against them? And the quest of the same could go on for another day. And of the four, who wrote a book that the AP while under layoff conditions put ELEVEN reporters to fact check? The answer to the above is Sarah Palin. Have both books of BO been fact checked by even ONE reporter?
But even after the election was well over, Palin kept getting ethics inquiries. All she, her staff and a stack of AK lawyers were doing was answering these bogus charges. Which of the 18 stuck? It was standard Chicago, Rahm Emanuel tactics. It costs the Palins plenty, and the state of Alaska even more. That’s why she left. She left to let the Alaska be governed, and not have AK be gobbled up with bogus charges. All it took was a 44 cent stamp to file an ethics charge. It only took AK and the Palins 100 of thousands to defend it.
Imagine Al Gore running for president in a few years. And imagine you believe he would initiate a nuclear war with someone. Anyone. Because he believes he’s right, and can’t fail. Consider everything you think about Al Gore… all the stupidity and craziness… and add a not improbable chance of the human race ending because of him.
That’s how I feel about Sarah Palin. That’s how many liberals feel about Sarah Palin.
Face it, Nangleator, all you have are emotions. All the facts stand against you, but you are too blind to see. While I admit I’m quite hyperbolic, I, at least, have facts to stand behind me. You are all hyperbole and no fact.
What’s the best defense against all-out nuclear destruction? A willingness to use nuclear weapons and a Conservative principled foundation. “Ronny Ray-gun” got the libturds all worked up because he pronounced his willingness and his foundation. Yet, “Ronny Ray-gun” was key in the collapse of USSR and the Eastern Bloc, and a spread of democratic freedom. Them’s facts the libturds refuse to admit.
Algore, on the other hand, has no facts whatsoever behind all his scare tactics. All he has are lies, paranoia, hypocrisy.

Yeah, and I remember how all of my friends on the left were absotively, posilutely convinced that Ronnie Raygun was going to start a nuclear war with the Soviet Union. Instead, he would up defeating the Soviet Union — with a lot of help from Lech Walesa and Pope John Paul II and the people of Poland — and rolling back Communism in places like Nicaragua and Angola and Afghanistan, without the first nuclear weapon being fired.
The feeling you expressed is irrational, is not based in fact. I’m not particularly a supporter of Mrs Palin, but it’s difficult to imagine that she’d be anything worse than a middling president: if she were in the White House, she’d have to deal with tight budgets, she’d have to make judicial appointments, she’d have to decide what to do in Iraq and Afghanistan, she’d have the same problems that any president would have, and her actions to solve the problems would be constrained by what could be passed by Congress and what our political system would tolerate.
I’ll be like most of you wing nuts. I won’t read or watch what you link to.
Then I will defend the person you are attacking.
Then I will feel awesome because I won.
Then I will come back tomorrow and do the same thing.
again and again and again.
How many people actually click on the links you folks put up?

There are some here who scream from the rooftops they must have documentation or your 150% WRONG. Then we have some here who have a single point of view regrdless of the topic and spam link after link after link and wonder why you didn’t take 3 hours to read or watch off topic links.

And when you provide the documentation they screamed about, they don’t even acknowledge you did so. They just move on and repeat it as if nothing ever happened.
donviti, you neglected to say you’d resort to childish nicknames.

heh, “Ronny Ray-gun” wasn’t a childish nic, was it? Or, wait, maybe the right-wing fanatics derisively called him that. Then again, maybe not.
One of my favorites is “poverty pimps.”
On the Constitution, I would like to show what Sarah Palin thinks about it. This is from the vice presidential debates. Take note…she believes in FLEXIBILITY. That doesn’t sound like adherence to the Constitution.
IFILL: Governor, you mentioned a moment ago the constitution might give the vice president more power than it has in the past. Do you believe as Vice President Cheney does, that the Executive Branch does not hold complete sway over the office of the vice presidency, that it it is also a member of the Legislative Branch?
PALIN: Well, our founding fathers were very wise there in allowing through the Constitution much flexibility there in the office of the vice president. And we will do what is best for the American people in tapping into that position and ushering in an agenda that is supportive and cooperative with the president’s agenda in that position. Yeah, so I do agree with him that we have a lot of flexibility in there, and we’ll do what we have to do to administer very appropriately the plans that are needed for this nation. And it is my executive experience that is partly to be attributed to my pick as V.P. with McCain, not only as a governor, but earlier on as a mayor, as an oil and gas regulator, as a business owner. It is those years of experience on an executive level that will be put to good use in the White House also.
Blu, you do realize a veep candidate must color responses within the Prez candidate’s spectrum, do you not? And flexibility != trashing the thing, which is what the leftists have been doing for my grandmother’s lifetime (and she’s approaching 90).
The all-time best/worst childish nic is the one for the Tea Partiers. Playing “top this” the leftists won that “hands down”.
Well, duh, the Constitution clearly states the veep is part of the Legislative Branch. (Tie-breaker in Senate, anyone?)
John, what all do you know about the Patriot Act which was formulated in all its draconian horror, under completely Republican controlled government, along with GWB, of course?

Blu, I guess you didn’t hear that the Libs are totally rewriting the Patriot Act, it’s called HealthCare.
