This is how it’s done, folks. This is how a Governor beats back against ObamaNation. Truth, facts, the Constitution, and a “call to arms”.

At first I thought that title was referring to our Perry, which of course wouldn’t make much sense!

Still, interesting video (if a bit long). Liked the way he stands up to socialism, and calls it just that. Next year’s elections could be very interesting. Tidal Wave 1994 redux??

    Spanking?

    Here’s a spanking: http://crooksandliars.com/david-neiwert/jon-stewart-totally-busts-sean-hanni

Gov. Perry is a secessionist sympathizer. Aside from the pesky details of the execution of a civil war, he’s essentially the head of a foreign nation. He’s not American, at all.

Hey, John Hitchcock, is this your idea of perfection?

  4. blubonnet says:

Hey John Hitchcock, why do you think it is that so many Mexicans feel so impoverished to try to come to America? Milton Friedman economics that have set up itself around the world, Mexico included.

  5. Sharon says:

I’d say Mexicans want to come to the U.S. because their own country is a mess that has been run by socialists and near-communists for most of the last century. At least here, they can reroof your house and expect to get paid for it.

Here’s some information about Bush’s actions on the Mexico situation:

Sharon once again, shows her ignorance. Sorry, Sharon.

  8. My heritage is from four groups, mainly: Irish, Mexican, Texan (the nation), American Indian (and don’t go PC with me on that). Build the wall/fence. If Mexicans want to immigrate here, let them do so legally. My sister-in-law legally immigrated here from the Czech Republic. What gives Mexicans the right in liberal minds to immigrate here illegally?

I also remember several years ago, the Mexican President was encouraging his citizens to illegally immigrate to the US.

It’s un-American to sit back and watch illegal immigration happen and not put a stop to it. They are illegal immigrants and not “undocumented workers”. Illegal, meaning they broke federal law. Meaning they committed a crime. Blu, remind me again, if you commit a crime, what are you?

  9. And, blu, Sharon is far more aware about far more than you could ever dream of being. It is you, as usual, showing your ignorance and incompetence.

  10. Nangleator says:

John Hitchcock: “…remind me again, if you commit a crime, what are you?”
You seem to have a zero tolerance policy on crime. As if someone who breaks a law will inevitably break all laws, after that.
So tell me. What speed do you drive at in 25 and 30 mph zones? Do you ever tailgate? Have you ever jaywalked?

  11. Eric says:

So tell me. What speed do you drive at in 25 and 30 mph zones? Do you ever tailgate? Have you ever jaywalked?

I’ve gotten some traffic tickets, and never complained they were unfair. What’s your point?

  12. Nangleator says:

John has suggested that illegal aliens are criminals and can’t be trusted. I have pointed out that he is likely a criminal. Certainly most of the people he has met in his life are criminals. Are we all likely to slip into kidnapping and murder and arson? You’ve paid your debt to society and thus are trusted to continue living your life. Our society often chooses not to punish illegal aliens for being here. So, do they get a blank slate… or presumption of guilt?

  13. Sharon says:

Sharon once again, shows her ignorance. Sorry, Sharon.

How does your crackpot link to North American Union believers negate what I said about why Mexicans come to the United States? You think the poor guy mowing your grass is part of a gigantic conspiracy to take away American sovereignty? Good God, blu, is there a conspiracy you don’t believe?

  14. Sharon says:

So, do they get a blank slate… or presumption of guilt?

Why wouldn’t we assume they are willing to break inconvenient laws of our country if they are here illegally? It’s not like they didn’t know it was illegal when they crossed the border. I’m all for considering them law-abiding once they pay whatever the penalty is for their crime. After all, if I break the law and get a ticket, I have to pay it, too.

  15. Sharon says:

Blu, are you a 2012er too?

  16. Nah, blu doesn’t think the world is going to end. Her biggest problem is that “1984″ is 25 years too late and she’s worried that we wingnuts are going to delay it even further.

But, back to the point. I’d vote for Rick Perry if I were a Texan. Who knows, maybe I just might get that chance. Stranger things have happened.
