Cape Breton, Nova Scotia

From 1998 this is a shot looking south from the west side of Cape Breton National Park in Canada.

That is quite a beautiful drive. You don’t have to venture all the way up there, Yorkshire, to see what I think is comparable scenery. If you’ve never been take a trip to Bar Harbor, Maine someday. You won’t be disappointed.

We passed by there, but our destination after NS, was Newfoundland. We got there, but it takes an interesting 5 hour ferry ride from North Sydney, NS to NF

Thanks Perry. I saw the opposite taken from near the little island in the upper right in the National Geographic Traveler magazine and had to see it.

Never been to Nova Scotia but the pic looks remarkably like California’s Big Sur coast. Without the caption, I’d have said it was taken looking south from the patio at Ventana with Pfeiffer in the depression. All that’s missing is a mooring buoy and some kelp.

    Thanks! There’s always photoshop. :-)
