Mr Lynch added:
Rep. Joe Wilson introduced an amendment, “requiring Congresspersons who vote for public plan to have to enroll in it.” (via twitter @CongJoeWilson) Call your Rep. and INSIST they keep that in. That’ll sink this bill faster than anything.
Yup, I bet it would!

I told my two senators to include that provision that if it’s good for us, it’s just as good for them.
My representative (who wants to be Senator) is an aristocrat who deserves to be treated as such. How dare anyone suggest that he be treated as a mere peasant?
Dana,
There are publics and then there are publics that most people don’t recognize as being a public.
The congress is a small part of one of those publics, an exclusive public but yet a public or so I learned when earning my degrees in Public Administration and they have joined into, gladly joined into that exclusive public’s health plan… several different plans actually offered exclusively to all federal employees, that number between four and six million souls depeding on which list you go by, whether they are career or temps which includes federal employees, the congress and president et al ux.
And guess who it is in the long run that pays for those suckers insurance.
