And no, Mike, it’s not for himself!
Friday, June 5, 2009I’m hoping there’s a couple of super-experienced veterinarians who read this site, because I need some help. I’ve been to two vets now in the last few days with our St. Bernard puppy, and they have no idea what’s the matter with her. We’re taking her to another vet tomorrow for a third opinion, but I don’t have high hopes.
If you think you can help, please email me ASAP. It’s VERY important (life-and-death important).
Thanks in advance!
Don’t know if there are any vets who read CSPT, but who knows, there might be one. Brian’s e-mail link is on his site.

Update: We’ve got the puppy picture now. Brian said that the canine in question is a lot bigger now:

Of course, to help, we need pictures of the puppy!
You might want to post on blogs that get tons of message traffic. This one is definitely taking off, but others, like Pandagon, Hot Air, and Powerline have been drawing in tons of viewers for years, so you’ll likely reach a bigger audience that way.
Anyway, best of luck in getting an answer!

We’re on our way to take her in for another vet appt., a different vet. Hopefully this one can figure out what’s wrong with her. She’s really having a hard time of it the last couple of days, but none of the vets we’ve taken her to can find anything wrong with her, other than a slightly sore throat…and there’s more going on than that. She’s in serious distress, and I can’t stand to see her this way. We’ve only had her a couple of months, but she’s been a very good dog. We’ve grown very fond of her and want to keep her around as long as possible.
