Thug-o-crats

The recent efforts at voter intimidation by Black Panther thugs in Philadelphia will go unpunished While efforts to prosecute the bully-boys was made by career officials at the Department of Justice, Obama appointees have stepped in with a ‘get out of jail free’ card. Obama and Company will obviously take care of their own.

In many big cities, the line of demarcation between political machines and criminal enterprises has long been blurred. In Chicago, the corruption had a bipartisan flavor. New York got a respite under LaGuardia and later under Giuliani. Politicized police forces were often operating as auxiliaries for organized crime and went after those without the mob ties.

When Obama appointed thug-hugger Eric Holder (the protector or mega-swindler Marc Rich) as AG, it should have been a warning. Janet Napolitano seems to be another person with some ‘quaint’ attitudes.

Obama, for all of his glitter, should be seen as a corrupt Chi-Town pol who married a ward-heelers daughter and absorbed the verbal venom of a hustling and racist tub-thumper but claimed never to have heard anything offensive in the sermons. The Obama background should be viewed with concern. There seems to be not a single associate who can be described as decent. They include violent radicals. Avowed Marxists, militant Muslims, as well as some of the more corrupt members of the Cook County political underworld.

Is he merely ambitious and naïve, eager to do the right thing but utterly without a clue? His ‘career’ has involved sinecures and ‘activism’ plus an unhealthy dose of affirmative action.

Will we see our courts packed with ‘creative activists’ who believe that they are the source of all law? We free reign be granted to the bully boys of ACORN?

Will we see Republican ‘moderates’ roll over for the sense of comity and non-partisanship?

Test #1 will be the vote to confirm the radical chosen to fill a slot on the Supreme Court. Which Republicans will sell out? Will any so-called ‘blue dog’ fail to support the Party Line?

Not to underplay the gravity of the recent intimidation by the Black Panthers, I will celebrate the day when Art Downs plays fair and speaks out against the much more serious white collar crimes that have brought our nation to its knees.

Furthermore, it should be obvious to all, that Art now wants to play the guilt by association card, from the Chicago corrupt politicians to Obama, now to Sotomayor, and furthermore, sully us with a myriad of cherrypickings and unsubstantiated allegations that can come only from a radical right partisan, a pontificator of the first order unwilling to engage down here on earth with us common folk.

Elections count, Art, and you lost, and you whine, to knock out our underpinnings and return us to where we were in the last eight years. Should your ilk prevail, we will never recover, in my view.

My previous post is in moderation, and has been for an hour or so. Is it possible that Art Downs has the power to moderate push backs against his claims?

  3. Perry says:

Make that 2.5 hours of moderation. This kills the timeliness of any discussion!

I think the investigation was stopped because it would likely lead to one of the 200 ACORN affiliated groups and then might lead to a certain Mr. Soetero’s campaign.

gotta love how you say stuff like this with zero to back it up besides your unflagging love for the sound of your thesaurus’s pages rustling

Thomas, you overlooked this comment. Art is dancing around what he really objects to in Barack Obama…

  7. Art Downs says:

Did or did not Obama marry the daughter of a Cook County ward heeler?

  8. Perry says:

I got it! Art has lined himself up with Rush, Newt, and Tancredo, thus he has become of one mind with these Thug-O-phants, which rhymes with Syc-O-phants, which rhymes with El-O-phants.

Even the wingnut Republicans, like Senator Cornyn (R-TX) think they are “terrible”. Where on the spectrum does that place Art? I’ll leave that as an exercise for the reader!

For that, I apologize. I have not been monitoring the site as closely as I might have on this beautiful, sunny day in the Poconos.

I’d suggest you perform an anatomically improbable act if my teeth weren’t chattering so much.
