From Patterico:
Holder may release some GTMO detainees into the U.S:
Attorney General Eric Holder said some detainees being held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, may end up being released in the U.S. as the Obama administration works with foreign allies to resettle some of the prisoners.
Holder, in a briefing with reporters, said administration officials are still reviewing individual cases of the approximately 250 detainees to determine which will be put on trial and which may be released to comply with plans to close the detention facility by next year.
What could go wrong?
Is there anything more to say? Could they really be this stupid?

Yes.
Welcome back Carter, ooops Clinton. Shhh, the War on Terrorism is over. That term is dropped, ergo, no more terrorists.
Holder has long been known as a thug-hugger. Protecting criminals and terrorists is Job #1 for him.
Perhaps we should examine the record and see what Republican Senators voted to confirm him. They deserve active primary challenges.
I read a heading the other day, (I don’t remember who wrote it): Is the Administration this incompetent, or are they trying to sabotage our country? Either way, it’s bad.
Short Answer Is Yes, They Are…
Dana has posed a question in regards to the Obama administration and their plan to release some Gitmo terrorists into the United States:
Could they really be this stupid?
Short answer is yes, they can be. And yes, they are.
For example, take a look at…
So, if a Guantanamo detainee kills an American citizen after his release into the United States, will it be President Obama’s fault for releasing him into the United States, or will it be President Bush’s fault for his being in Guantanamo in the first place?
Better yet, Mr Pico, if Stash wounds an ex-Gitmo detainee on Stash’s property, what then?
Between Holder and Napolitano we have some real issues. We are less safe for their being in office.
Surf over to a post I wrote about the dollar. These guys are hinting that we should replace the dollar as the global reserve. Step by step they are setting us up for failure.

The award goes to dubya — he stupidly and unnecessarily created the situation in which they now can’t be tried and jailed. Sadly for him, he left office before the rapture cleaned up his messes.
Y’all should study the tar-baby fable for inspiration.

Should we assume, then, that you believe that President Bush should have ordered that no prisoners be taken alive?
burninbush obviously chose an obtuse blasphemy as a moniker, but that’s alright since the person is an obvious brain-dead liberal. No logic in the statement. No thought patterns at all.
Shorter Liberty Pundit: “Detainee” vs “terrorist”, “arrest” vs “convict”, “tax” vs “socialism”, “Kiss” vs “intercourse”, “date” vs “marry” – these are foolish distinctions, suitable only for nitpickers.
