Well, there was Midnight Mass . . . .
Even so, the fact that the girls (aged 20 and 17) stayed in bed until 9:00 was astounding, on Christmas morning.
The presents have been opened, in our usual capitalistic display of intrafamily largesse, and I got a book about Andrew Jackson, workshirts, a couple of warm sweat shirts, and some tools. The kids cleaned up, of course.
