More on Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State

Last week’s big story was that Barack Obama was going to nominate Hillary Clinton to be his Secretary of State. There’s more today from The Politico concerning the “vetting” process and whether former President Clinton’s business dealings might derail the nomination. But The Guardian is reporting this evening that Senator Clinton will accept the nomination. (Hat tip to Sister Toldjah.)

Anthony left a comment on Sis’ site, which said, in part:

You can bet he’ll want to use Bill and his schmoozing skills, and having Hillary in the Cabinet makes that much easier.

Well, perhaps Mr Obama is thinking that way, but Mrs Clinton couldn’t keep her dear husband on message during the primary campaign; why would our next president think that using former President Clinton for anything would be anything other than having a loose cannon on board?

    The left can’t be having much fun;
    Why it’s almost like Hillary won!
    They hoped in Barack,
    Got stabbed in the back,
    And our friends on the left are all glum!

    The left had a major head-rush
    A prez who wasn’t like Bush
    But they might just find
    He ain’t quite their kind
    ‘Cause his brains aren’t made out of mush!

    Obama will break
    Any promise he has made
    Just get used to it

    There is an up side to this. Hill gets to be Sec. State and out of the Senate. Hill goes Rogue as the shadow president with Bubba. BO gets pissed and fires her, and we are rid of the Clintons.
