Barrack Hussein Obama might be excused for his associations for radicals. He was the byproduct of a trendy coupling between an impressionable airhead filled with the radical myths de jour and a male most likely to offend the sensibilities of mainstream society: an already-married alcoholic African socialist who would abandon his wife and child and return to die in a drink-induced accident. Moral weaklings hiding behind a façade of machismo are at the top rank of urban role models.
It might be a bit of a stretch for a person with Obama’s quaint parentage from reading the works of Milton Friedman or even Ayn Rand. Instead, there would be a natural preference for the wild side of the ideological spectrum. Physical maturity is often accompanied by learning experiences that provide some insight to truth.
Yet how could a person caught up in the revolutionary spirit of Saul Alinsky become intertwined with the orbit of Slimelord Tony Rezko? Rezko represents the parasitical spirit that offended Karl Marx. Rezko is and was a well-connected bloodsucker in a community where the first goal of a politician was to get rich at the public trough. Cook County corruption has been a bipartisan endeavor over the decades and not much changes with time.
Rezko may have come to the United States to study engineering, but he found that there could be a fortune made through good political connections. While trained in civil engineering, he sought his fortunes in food concessions that are typically monopolies awarded to the well connected and a quid pro quo is understood. He and his partners branched out into low-income housing and became experts at the profitable bankruptcy game.
To most individuals, bankruptcy is a financial refuge of last resort. To swindlers, it is a tool for acquiring wealth. Such profitable bankruptcies tend to involve corporations and not individuals. A large corporation may seek to use the bankruptcy laws as protection from a sudden downturn or a litigious attack. The way to make money from bankruptcy is to set up multiple corporations, borrow a lot of money, skim off a lot of cash, and then let the creditors be damned. The executives walk away with their salaries and go on to the next gig.
The Rezko scam was replicated with repeated success for the principal perpetrators. A rundown or vacant property would be ‘rehabilitated’ with a combination of loans and government grants. The residents would be offered subsidized housing in a clean and cozy environment that might help to dispel the social gloom of helplessness. That may have been the stated goal but the results were not so pretty. With each such project a standalone venture, failure of one would not create a domino effect. Rezko could milk project A and not have the money to pay the heating bills for his housing units. There would always be money to hand out to Obama and other supporting politicians.
About a third of Rezko’s scams were being perpetrated in Obama’s state senate district and they were working to the disadvantage of the tenants who seem to be the natural constituency of the alleged prophet of new politics. Was the alleged political messiah too stupid to see what was going on or did he not want to harm the interests of a man who would be a long-term benefactor?
Perhaps Obama the Radical can excuse the Rezko swindles as part of a perverse trickle-down approach to income distribution. Tax money extracted from the evil productive segment of society was filtered down through well-connected insiders and some provided housing for the victims of society. For several months of the year the temperature inside might be tolerable and most of the appliances would work. It beats sleeping on a grate or in a cardboard box.
Big Media seems to be keeping the Rezko filter turned on. Some very unpleasant truths might show an ugly link between prophet and profit.

The prison experts have reported that there are 100,000 innocent Americans currently being falsely imprisoned along with the 2,300,000 total US prison population nationwide.
Since our US Congress has never afforded poor prison inmates federal appeal legal counsel for their federal retrials,they have effectively closed the doors on these tens of thousands of innocent citizens ever being capable of possibly exonerating themselves to regain their freedom through being granted new retrials.
This same exact unjust situation was happening in our Southern States when poor and mostly uneducated Black Americans were being falsely imprisoned for endless decades without the needed educational skills to properly submit their own written federal trial appeals.
This devious and deceptive judicial process of making our poor and innocent prison inmates formulate and write their own federal appeal legal cases for possible retrials on their state criminal cases,is still in effect today even though everyone in our US judicial system knows that without proper legal representation, these tens of thousands of innocent prison inmates will be denied their rightful opportunities of ever being granted new trials from our federal appeal judges!!
Sadly, the true US *legal* Federal Appeal situation that occurs when any of our uneducated American prison inmates are forced to attempt to submit their own written Federal Appeals (from our prisons nationwide) without the assistance of proper legal counsel, is that they all are in reality being denied their legitimate rights for Habeas Corpus and will win any future Supreme Court Case concerning this injustice!

Art, do you seriously believe that members of the media have proof of a big scandal perpetrated by Sen. Obama and are choosing to ignore it? Do you believe that they haven’t checked this story out? That’s an unbelievable conspiracy theory to me.

Jeff, the MSM don’t want to investigate Obama’s ties to Tony Rezko. You might want to call it a conspiracy, or you might want to just call it disinterest. Obama has said his house arrangement was a “mistake,” and we should simply leave it at that. But Rezko has given plenty of money to Obama’s campaigns before the house deal. Obama has known Rezko for close to 20 years. Some of the arguments could be smoke and mirrors, but Obama’s political career has been financed by Rezko, and some of Rezko’s slummy apartments were in Obama’s state senate district.
Democrats have been trying to bring up the Keating 5 scandal for months now. The fact is, that McCain was cleared of any charges in that situation and has worked tirelessly since then to clean up the system. The issue becomes judgment. Obama has been constantly backtracking and claiming that this person and that person–with whom he’s been involved for 20 years–are “not the people he knew.” The claim is simply preposterous and everyone knows it.
There may be a bit of difference between ‘mainstream’ media and the supermarket tabloids. Both tend to ignore meaninful issues and stress peripheral scandals. Sex sells. The stuff aimed at dullards with empty lives often scoops the ‘respectable’ journals by a few days.
Note how little had been published about scandals that dealt with the inerent corruption of the Clinton Era. The Travel Office frame-ups, the wanton invasion of privacy via lack of control over FBI raw files, the fraudulent cattle futures trades, and the deals with the Riaddy family may only be the tip of a dark iceberg. Yet that blue dress and an ‘abused’ cigar were deemed to be important.
Yet would the Obama cheering section in Big Media even take notice of credible charges that went beyond the ‘live-boy/dead-girl’ threshold?
