Thanks to Sharon, I found this tidbit from Ed Morrissey at the Captain’s Quarters:

A Flag Obama Supporters Salute?
Oh, my. Barack Obama may want to call his new Houston office and suggest some decorating ideas. Take a look at the flag flying in the office at the moment:
No, that’s not a Texas state flag with a picture of Obama on it. It’s the flag of the Castro-led Cuba regime, with Che Guevara’s face superimposed on the side. A Fox report from Houston captured this image as it showed Obama supporters celebrating his momentum after Super Tuesday.
Does Obama know his Houston supporters honor a terrorist in his campaign office? I’m sure he doesn’t. However, it would behoove him to ensure that the flag gets taken down and that he renounces any affinity for Che and the Fidel Castro regime. (via Jim Geraghty)
UPDATE: John Cole doesn’t see anything wrong with a presidential campaign office featuring a Cuban flag with a picture of Che Guevara? Along with the ubiquitous personal insult towards anyone with whom he disagrees, John tries to cast it as a courageous statement that our policy towards Cuba needs to be rethought. And he calls me a flack?
I can remember when Balloon Juice was readable. Now they just revel in their bitterness. Too bad.
I’ll show you this one now, but, don’t worry: it’ll certainly appear during the summer and the autumn if Senator Obama wins the Democratic presidential nomination, as I hope he does.
The article by Mr Cole that Mr Morrissey referenced said:
-
That Didn’t Take Long
Captain Ed, loyal party flack.
I would take this as a sign that the GOP now feels threatened by Obama.
Well, yeah: Mr Obama might wind up as the Democratic presidential nominee, and while he’s preferable to Hillary Clinton — and if it were a choice between Mrs Clinton and Satan, I’d have to give some consideration to the devil — we still don’t want him to win the presidency.
- BTW- Is there anyone except the troglodyte right who thinks our Cuba policy has been a success and doesn’t need to be thought through? I mean, if you want to look at long-term failed policies, Cuba could be right up there at the top. What exactly has been accomplished?
Uhhh, there’s a bit of a difference between thinking that perhaps our Cuba policy might not be the best, and having a Cuban flag with the picture of a communist revolutionary and a murderer up in Mr Obama’s headquarters.
One of Mr Cole’s commenters tells us:
The reporter at… yes – FOX… specifically says that these are VOLUNTEERS who are OPENING the office, and that the actual Obama staffers are expected to be there by the END OF THE WEEK.
To which I respond: so what?
Let’s be clear here: this is the biggest prize in the world for which John McCain and Mrs Clinton and Mr Obama are fighting, and everything, and I mean everything, is fair game. If Senator Obama’s middle name happens to cost him some votes, well, too bad, but people are perfectly free to take their voting decisions on whatever basis they wish. If some people get turned off by Obama volunteers — or even volunteers setting up for other volunteers — displaying a revolutionary symbols (about which they probably have only the barest of knowledge) that’s too bad for Mr Obama, but it’s good news (at least after the nomination) for the Republicans.
And the first Democrat or Obama supporter who says that, why of course they wouldn’t use whatever they had against the GOP is lying to you — and probably himself. Is anyone here naïve enough to think that if there were a Confederate flag or a Nazi flag or a poster of Benito Mussolini on the wall at a McCain headquarters, our friends on the left wouldn’t use it, to do as much damage as they could to the Republican candidate?

Maybe someone ought to tack up the “Stars and Bars” on Obama’s wall and see what happens.
Obama’s the most liberal member of the Senate, Che Guevera is worshiped by the young members of the idiot Left…that flag will do no harm to Barack’s campaign.
Good point. Politics ain’t beanbag and you use every advantage you can get. I can’t remember the details but a picture of a Confederate flag was in the background of some Republican event a few months ago that got big play on the lefty blogs.
And I think you’re right about Cuba. Both party’s have pursued a shortsighted and destructive policy to cater to a minority of voters in Florida. We trade with many Communist or formerly Communist countries such as Vietnam, China, Russia, etc. Just think how American capitalism would influence the events on that island. Fidel has to die eventually and I think the succession could be influenced by the US if our businesses were on the ground.
But BHO wants to talk without setting preconditions with Castro and Ahmdidanutjob. Apparently BHO missed the Cuban Missile crisis and the Castro Revolution. And it looks like BHO isn’t paying much attention to Iran from the lessons of the great appeaser, Carter. For some reason Manchuria keeps popping into my head.
Barack Hussein Che Obama
Barack Obama disrespects the American flag, will not wear a flag pin, but he doesn’t seem to have any problem with the communist Cuban flag and the murderous Marxist Che Guevara, which are proudly displayed in his Houston office.
A connection that I forgot to make, but Ken of Obligatory Anecdotes didn’t:
Obama’s “Childrens’ Crusade” is still trendy but in the long run, age and treachery tend to beat youth, enthusiasm, and oratorical skill.
Hillary may well have a few dozen aces up her slaves with sleaze-merchant Lenzner and “Dirty Larry” Potts digging up dirt on someone who may not be as clean as Joe Biden once believed.
At least Democrats are in for some interesting times.

Does anyone know, or have an idea how and what BHO is going to change? I keep hearing the word CHANGE, but it is from people who already work in the system. I have great fear of this kind of change since the last time this was used for a campaign, we got Jimmuh Carter and we haven’t finished cleaning that mess up yet after 31 years.
