Chauncey Bailey, a black journalist, was murdered by gunfire in Oakland, California last week. Perhaps he had nothing pleasant to write about certain subjects. One could suspect that the killing was racially-motivated and the work of Skinheads or Klansmen but that would have been conventional wisdom. The murder was in Oakland, once a domain of the prancing and posturing Black Panthers. Arrests have been made and there is involvement by adherents of a certain ‘religion of peace’. The arrests were made in conjunction with a raid on a commercial establishment known as Your Black Muslim Bakery.
Several firearms were found at the bakery and at least one appears linked to the Bailey murder as well as other open homicide cases.
The bakery was opened by a ‘jailhouse Muslim’ named Joseph Stevens, who adopted the adopted the alias of Yusef Bey. Bey was once a title of nobility and might seem a bit presumptuous for a recent convert to a perverse cult of a larger body of faith. Big Yusuf may have been influenced by some of the more questionable acts of the Late Prophet and impregnated and sodomized a girl barely thirteen. Consorting with jailbait can be costly, but the self-styled Bey died before being placed in the dock.. His son and designated heir was one Yusef Bey IV. One might ask about the missing II and III, but does it matter? Were natural children or offspring of concubines counted but not deemed worthy of succession to the top job?
A number of open homicide cases may be closed as tests are run on the guns found at the bakery.
When can we expect Hollywood stars to climb on the fan bandwagon for Yusef Bey IV? Could we not expect the Mumia fans to provide support?
