  1. Way too much rain. Must be due to “Global Raining”. Like we never had a boat of rain before! No, must be “Climate Change”. Ha, Ha.

  2. There is more moisture in the atmosphere which is going to lead to more severe storms. I have never seen anything like this summer, one thundersorm after another with a mix of 100 degree days.

But of course there is no such thing as global warming because it still snows.

  3. Gort, you must be very young. I’ve seen many, many summers like this. Matter of fact, when I was a kid they were all like this. Hell, I sat in Ocean City during a hurricane, and loved it. I swam down West Ave. , in the heat, in the rain, in the humidity. But then, there was no “glowball warming”, it was just a phuckin’ storm. Why don’t you girls get a little more hysterical about bad weather? Common’, scream why don’tcha? We’ll protect you!

So cute, and yet so young. Reminds me of a dog I once had. One clap of thunder, the fag was under the bed. I grew up with thunder, but we called it cannon! I love the sound of cannon in the morning, it sounds like….thunder. Gurly-men! That’s why America is sinking. Com’on Gort, it’s a phuckin’ storm. Nothing more, nothing less. BTW, it ain’t the first one.

  4. Did you ever think there’s more “moisture in the atmosphere” cause guys like you piss yourself at every opportunity? Oy, what a bunch of wussies!

You don’t believe in the Bible, God or anything else* (save Algore) but a rain storm scares you? And yet, one poor ass-hole lived through 40 days and 40 nights (with his family). Wow, thank God, God didn’t depend on you! Way to go Gort! You’re the man.

Another pho and Perry and Whistler kinda’ guy. What a man!

*Yes, I can tell by his input he’s a wag like pho or Perry. A lib, a man who fears everything and hates everyone that has done better than himself. But that’s okay, he understands “glowball” warming. He’s a scientist, dont’cha know. Just like Pho’s an economist.

Hoagie, common sense says you p1ss yourself every time there’s thunder.

Common sense says so, therefore it is true.

We win again. In your face, loser.

  6. You can repeat your childish mantra all you want Pho. I love it, makes you look weak. One more lame tantrum for you. I have faith that someday you’ll grow up.

  7. You can repeat your childish mantra all you want Pho

Your rules, my little turnip, and we all know it.

Common sense says you’re an 1diot.

  8. Speaking about growing up, here is Hoagie’s latest garbage:

“Yes, I can tell by his input he’s a wag like pho or Perry. A lib, a man who fears everything and hates everyone that has done better than himself. But that’s okay, he understands “glowball” warming. He’s a scientist, dont’cha know. Just like Pho’s an economist.”

Right, Hoagie, and you are neither, as you have already exhibited your utter ignorance of both science and macro-economics. I’ll give it to you re micro-economics based on your successes, even though you have not been able to distinguish between the two. And as to your knowledge of science: Where is it? I even question whether you understand the fundamental science regarding the behavior of what we call a greenhouse gas, like CO2, like CH4, like H2O.

  9. I even question whether you understand the fundamental science regarding the behavior of what we call a greenhouse gas, like CO2, like CH4, like H2O.

I’m fairly certain he understands it a lot better than you, Perry. That’s for sure.

  10. Mr. Hoagie,

I usually try to make my point without insults or attributing motives to people who I don’t agree with. I’m not young but when I was young I lived through the Agnes flood of 1972 that wiped out my hometown of Wilkes-Barre. I’m really impressed that you’re such a macho punk that could swim in a river on a street after a Hurricaine. But I not sure that has anything to do with this situation.

I read the scientific evidence about global warming produced by scientist who don’t have a political agenda and you counter with fairy tails from the bible. I know the bible but I don’t take it litterly. Also I don’t fear or hate anyone who has done better than me. I strive to improve my financial situation everyday and have been somewhat successful. Just to open up another can of worms I am willing to pay more taxes to make our country better.

No, I’m not a climate scientist but I do have a degree in Economics.

  11. I even question whether you understand the fundamental science regarding the behavior of what we call a greenhouse gas, like CO2, like CH4, like H2O.

My answer would be similar to the statement Mr Gort made. As evidenced by past comments made by you, Hube, you certainly do not understand the science. If you think you do, let’s hear it from you.

  12. Mister Gort, when I swam on a river, it was just on the street, not a real river. It was in Ocean City and just a storm. And I was about 9 years old. David Gettes and I were thrown off the boardwalk by a cop who said : “you boys shouldn’t be up here now”. He was right, but we wanted to see the storm. We were kids. I was not, a ” macho punk”, sir. And I too am an economist, and I too have read the “scientific eveidence” and I am not impressed. However, if YOU believe in glowball warming, I suggest YOU put all your money into it and leave me alone. I’ve been doing something else with mine, and it pays better than a windmill. Funny, when a guy like you thinks something is a good “economic” idea, you always want to make everybody else pay into it. When I think something’s a good idea, I keep it to myself and my family.

You’re an economist? Tell us more.

  13. Gort, Paul Krugman? That’s not a teacher. That’s an Enron fool. Tell me more. How has Krugman been doin’ so far in the economy? Oh, wait, he and his bosses have phucked it up. Tell me Gort, how do “we” fix the economy? ( Can’t wait to hear this. )

  14. It doesn’t matter what anyone posts in here that challenges the Al Gore dogma of alarmist global warming. The Perry’s of the world treat their belief in man-made GW like Muslim fundies treat the Koran. Even when people aren’t dogmatic from the opposite perspective and accept that, yes, the Earth is currently warming BUT they’re not gung ho about mandating drastic lifestyle changes for the populace b/c there is still a lot to be considered about the so-called “settled science” … these folks are also treated as “infidels” and must be crushed.

Real science doesn’t operate that way. You absolutists are like the Church hierarchy seeking to silence heretics.

Like I’ve said on here many times before, even “settled science” is there to be scrutinized by skeptical scientists, which is exactly the process, otherwise known as the scientific method, which drives science toward better understanding. Scientists know very well that there are no absolutes in science, but even the best of them are human, therefore political, which at times drives them off track!

Which makes absolutely no sense, of course. Why insist on the term “settled science” if, indeed, there is legitimate room for continued skepticism? How is further “drive” motivated if the science is supposedly “settled?” Further, how is it that supposed scientists actively thwart (and attempt to thwart) dissent of the “settled science” (like the East Anglia scientists did) if the scientific method requires such dissent? Hell, you’re just like the East Anglia boys, Perry, actively denigrating anyone who comes in here to challenge the conventional global warming wisdom.

Right, Hube, you do have very little understanding of how science works. I provide you with my understanding, which you reject. That’s fine.

“Settled science” does not imply an absolute, and therefore will always be subject to scrutiny or even rejection. Then it is up to these skeptics to make their case, which will then be scrutinized, and could eventually result in a new “settled science” position, meaning that it is found acceptable by the scientific community.

On the East Anglia boys, I agree with you. There is an example where politics interfered with the science; although the science continues ahead, that situation has not been put to rest, because the IPCC reports, influenced by the East Anglia boys who never did produce all their data behind their findings, continue to be scrutinized by these people among others.
