Cooking out, at Mauch Chunk Lake. Mrs Pico cooked chicken breast strips with lemon, and roasted some potatoes, Portabella mushrooms and corn-on-the-cob. That was done over charcoal. Then, after the food was prepared, PFC Pico pulled the charcoal out from under the grate, and put the firewood over it. The charcoal was so hot that the firewood caught right away.

Today is PFC Pico’s 20th birthday; we are officially teenagerless.
