Let My Criminals Go

Moses told Pharoah “Let my people go!” Obama told the legal system “Let my criminals go!” And he’s still doing it.

Practically as soon as Obama became President, he began his process of freeing his favored criminals. The New Black Panther Party, and certain members of it, were guilty of voter intimidation and other things resulting from their criminal actions in Philadelphia during the 2008 election. The Obama administration dropped the charges after judgment was rendered.

Operation Fast and Furious/Gunrunner. Illegal purchases and transport of firearms from US to Mexico under the watchful and approving eye of the Obama Administration. The gun dealers dutifully notified the authorities, who told them to let it happen. As a result, hundreds if not thousands of guns were illegally bought and walked into Mexico. Two American law enforcement officials were murdered as a direct result. This was going to be a backdoor way to create more Anti-Second Amendment laws and regulations. Until the news of the Obama Administration’s involvement went viral. Fast and Furious/Gunrunner was stopped immediately after it became public knowledge, but not before the damage was already done. How many people were murdered? How many lives destroyed? How much thug rule was created and advanced because the Obama Administration refused to do its Constitutionally-required job?

Now another story breaks wide open, causing the Obama Administration to put a halt to another of its secret Unconstitutional efforts to free criminals from the jaws of Justice. Judicial Watch has the story.

DHS Stealth Amnesty Cover Up Exposed

Last Updated: Mon, 06/27/2011 – 2:34pm

Officials at the Department of Homeland Security lied to Congress and the media to cover up a secret amnesty program that dismissed the deportation of illegal immigrants across the U.S., including those with criminal convictions.

The scandalous story of how the government agency charged with keeping America safe systematically cancels pending deportations was first reported by Texas’s largest newspaper last year. The remarkable program stunned the legal profession and baffled immigration attorneys who say the government bounced their clients’ deportation even when expulsion was virtually guaranteed.

After the story broke other media outlets began to dig around and Senate leaders launched an investigation into the stealth amnesty program that led to a 40% increase in the dismissal of deportations last year. Homeland Security officials denied it existed and scrambled to conceal details, according to new information revealed by the newspaper that originally cracked the story.

So, Obama’s DHS ordered its people to dismiss deportation proceedings against illegal aliens, including criminal illegal aliens (All illegal aliens are criminal. That’s the definition of “illegal alien”.) that is illegal aliens that have committed crimes since arriving in the US illegally or illegally staying beyond their time limit. And some of those crimes those illegal aliens committed while being in the US illegally include sex crimes.

Why is the Obama Administration so cavalier when it comes to rape victims? Why is the Obama Administration so cavalier when it comes to murder victims? Why is the Obama Administration so cavalier when it comes to voter intimidation? Why does the Obama Administration so willingly violate Federal Law and the US Constitution?

And why do any Americans support him or his administration?

It wouldn’t have anything to do with the fact that the “case” was simply Fox-manufactured claptrap, would it?

    But let’s see:

The Department of Justice became aware of the incident on Election Day and started an inquiry. Under the Bush administration, a criminal investigation into the incident was started, but later dropped.[10][11] Instead, in January 2009, less than two weeks before the Bush administration left office, the civil rights division of the Department of Justice filed a civil suit under the voting rights act against four defendants, namely, Minister King Samir Shabazz, Jerry Jackson, NBPP chairman Malik Zulu Shabazz, and the NBPP itself. The lawsuit accused them of using uniforms, racial insults and a weapon to intimidate voters and those who were there to assist them.[2] Four career attorneys, Spencer Fisher, Christian Adams, Robert Popper and Christopher Coates signed the memo that supported the case against the four defendants.[12][10] The case remained open when the Obama administration took office a few weeks later.

In April 2009 Bartie Bull, a former civil rights lawyer who was serving as a poll watcher at the polling station where the incident occurred, submitted an affidavit at Justice’s request supporting the lawsuit, stating that he considered it to have been the most severe instance of voter intimidation he had ever encountered.[2][5]

When none of the defendants who were charged appeared in court to answer the charges, the career attorneys pursuing the lawsuit assumed that they would win it by default. However the career attorneys’ move to pursue a default judgment against the defendants was overruled by two of their line superiors, Loretta King who was acting Assistant Attorney General and Steve Rosenbaum, Acting Deputy Assistant Attorney General.[10][12][3]

Assistant Attorney General Thomas E. Perez testified that even though none of the defendants responded to the charges, the Justice Department still had a continuing legal and ethical obligation to ensure that any relief sought was consistent with the law and supported by the evidence. A decision was then made to dismiss the charges against NBPP chairman Malik Zulu Shabazz, the NBPP and Jerry Jackson. The charge against Minister King Samir Shabazz, the individual who was seen brandishing a nightstick, was maintained but narrowed. The original charge against Minister King Samir Shabazz sought an injunction prohibiting acts of intimidation anywhere in the United States, but the charge was narrowed to apply only within the City of Philadelphia. The Justice Department then sought and obtained a default judgment against King Samir Shabazz. The injunction would prohibit Shabazz from displaying a weapon within 100 feet of a Philadelphia polling place for the next three years.[10]

So the charges were dropped against the NBPP itself before a single individual was given a default judgement< which was basically just a slap on the wrist.

    Operation Fast and Furious/Gunrunner.

This would be the latest bit of bullshit being flogged mainly by the Confederate Yankee site, which is largely ignored elsewhere because it is w1ngnut-paranoid tripe? It has to be Obama’s fault – the idea that Mexican gangsters might try to get firearms on their own or that an ATF office could screw up without Obama being involved is too preposterous to imagine…

Indictments filed in federal court, documentation obtained by Senator Grassley, and statements of ATF agents obtained by Senator Grassley and CBS News, show that the ATF Phoenix Field Division allowed and facilitated the sale of over 2,500 firearms (AK-47 rifles, FN 5.7mm pistols, AK-47 pistols, and .50 caliber rifles) in ‘straw man purchases’ destined for Mexico. [17][24][25][26][27][28]According to ATF agents, Mexican officials were not notified, and ATF agents operating in Mexico were instructed not to alert Mexican authorities about the operation.[29] Some ATF agents and supervisors strongly objected, and gun dealers (who were cooperating with ATF) protested the sales, but were asked by ATF to complete the transactions to elucidate the supply chain and gather intelligence.[17][30] However, there are accusations that the ATF was attempting to boost statistics to ‘prove’ that American guns are arming the Mexican drug cartels and to further budget and political objectives.[31]

Besides, aren’t w1ngnuts always telling us arms make people free? Why are you objecting to Mexicans getting arms – don’t they deserve “freedom” too? You don’t seem to mind Americans shooting Americans…
