At a recent Lincoln Day Dinner, Representative Mike Castle was introduced. I clapped as gently as I could.
Â
I voted for the person. For the past 12 years I have had to hold my nose and vote for RINOs in the General Election. I had former house painter Gilchrest in Maryland, a man whose sloping forehead hints of a rather limited brain capacity and whose words confirm it. Now I have time-server Mike Castle in Delaware.
Â
Whenever I had the opportunity to vote against Wayne Gilchrest in a Primary Election I did so. The parliament of whores known as the state and national parties supported the incumbent.Â
Â
So am I abandoning principle by voting for such creeps in the General Election?
Â
Perhaps there is a sexual analogy that might be appropriate. I am going to be screwed and am going to get a disease in the process. It could be syphilis or gonorrhea. So I choose (to) clap.

[...] Art Downs is a conservative blogger here in Delaware who I’ve never heard of – but if he hates Mike Castle he is okay in my book. [...]
Art we probably don’t agree on much – but I think MIchael Castle revulsion is legit no matter how you come by it.
