“OEA” is Ohio Education Association, where nearly half the 235 employees of this Leftist organization were paid over 100,000 dollars each. Note all three groups paid out of tax-payer dollars average more than the one group paid out of private sector dollars. And the entire time since 2005, the tax-payer paid OEA has averaged more than double the private sector paid tax-payers.
Liberals, Unions, Democrats, lamestream media (but I redundantly repeat myself) all lie and claim it’s the poor against the rich. No, it’s government against the tax-payer.
Where did I fit on that chart? I have never earned 35,000 in a single year, despite my being among the highest paid union workers in the shop 2006-2008. In 2008, I would’ve reached 34,000 had I worked December. But I had already put in over 700 hours of mandatory overtime that year. (Paid at time and a half, that means being paid the equivalent of over 1050 hours, or more than an extra half a year just to reach 6,000 below average.) And take into account my mandatory Union Dues of 720 after-tax dollars, and my actual pay plummeted even further.
The tax-payers cannot afford the largess of the tax-recipients.
