This Aint Gonna Sit Well With The Hateful Liberals

Hot Air put this in its “Headlines” section:

Focus group: Americans see Palin as more sincere and believable after watching speech

A new national study among 1,437 self-reported Democrats, Republicans and Independents revealed that Americans indicated that Sarah Palin was more sincere and believable after viewing her speech in response to the shootings in Tucson…

Respondents were asked to rate Sarah Palin on a scale from 1-7 regarding likeability, believability and sincerity, with 1 representing “not at all strong in this attribute” and 7 representing “extremely strong in this attribute.”

With the exception of likeability among Democrats, Palin’s attribute ratings increased among all parties after viewing her speech. The most notable increase was her sincerity ratings, which increased from 2.62 to 2.69 among Democrats, from 5.25 to 5.45 among Republicans and from 3.68 to 3.85 among Independents.

It is strange seeing a poll that sets a “1 to 7″ scale, so I’ll do my best to change the numbers to a more standard “1 to 10″ scale. (“pre” means before her speech and “post” means after her speech)

The only group that found Sarahcuda less likable after her speech were Democrats. And let’s face it, most Democrats will never support a Republican. Republicans and Independents both found Sarahcuda more likable after her speech. And that spells trouble for Democrats in 2012. On believability and sincerity, all three groups gave her higher scores after her speech than before. That means even Democrats viewed her as more believable and sincere after her speech. And that spells trouble for Democrats in 2012.

I already gave proof that nearly three fourths of the Republican base and a clear majority of independents deem Congressional Republicans more liberal than the base. As seen in the 2010 elections, when independents broke hard for Republican candidates and the Republican base threw out squish Republican office-holders, that spells trouble for Democrats.

I already gave proof that there are more than twice as many conservatives as liberals in the US, and approaching twice as many moderates as liberals. I already gave proof that the lamestream media has been liberal for literally decades, which puts them out of touch with society. Add in the fact that the only group of people trusted less than members of Congress are members of the lamestream media, and that spells trouble for Democrats.

Here are some other facts to consider:
Most polls underestimate Republican votes.
Republican voting is stronger in off-year elections.
Republicans do better when smaller percentages vote.
Those who “do not get into politics” are less likely to vote in off-year elections.
Democrats, by and large, campaign clearly more conservative than they act once elected.
Many Republicans campaign more conservative than they act once elected.
Republicans now outnumber Democrats in party affiliation.

If the lamestream media was middle-of-the-road instead of liberal sell-outs, Democrats would lose much more often than they now do. If those who “do not get into politics” actually took the time to study before voting, we’d have a much more educated populace and a lot fewer Democrats in office. And that spells trouble for Democrats.

Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) have spent countless millions of dollars and untold programming hours attacking everything conservative, to their loss (as shown by the 2010 elections, which cost over 750 Democrats their jobs). They slandered and libeled their way around talking down the TEA Parties and Town Hall meetings, alienating more and more citizens as the average Joes and Janes found themselves venomously attacked and lied about.

Nobody has been more vilified in the past two years than Sarahcuda. And that was very obvious after Tuscon. Krugman was downright vile. Krauthammer was absolutely disgusting. Democrats and Country Club Republicans despise her. But Country Club Republicans lost the 2010 elections to their base.

After Tuscon, everyone on the left was trying to blame Sarah. The majority of the public declared the attacks on Sarah to be full of feces. When the shooter turned out to be a lunatic with socialist, anarchist, and downright conspiracy-theorist values, it totally shot the left’s idiotic meme. When Sarah gave a heartfelt talk about the incident and a blast attacking the left for their Blood Libel while Obama had a pep rally, replete with free tee-shirts for all attendees, it was Sarah who came out ahead of the opportunist narcissistic Obama. “Never let a crisis go to waste.” And, as one of Obama’s advisors said, “turn Tuscon into your Oklahoma City.”

Obama, his handlers, and the leftist lamestream media tried to cynically use Tuscon for political gain. Sarah and the TEA Party diffused that bomb before it had a chance to go off.

Whenever the people actually see and hear from Sarah Palin, the people find her more likable, more truthful, more sincere than they previously believed. If she wins the Primary, which is a strong possibility, Obama will most definitely be in trouble. Debates between Palin and Obama will be a disaster for Democrats, especially if Obama is not allowed to bring TOTUS with him.

And that’s why the left has to spend so much time lying about Sarah, villifying Sarah. That’s why the left spent so much effort filing frivolous lawsuits against Sarah. That’s why Andrew Sullivan is so grossly interested in Sarah’s uterus. That’s why some leftist arse moved in next door to Sarah to write a book next to nobody will ever read. That’s why so many hateful leftists have issued so many death threats to Sarah. Because they know if she gets a fair shake, she’ll win like Reagan. And they’re deathly afraid of that. Their anti-American, anti-Constitution agenda “to reshape America” will go right out the window.

  1. There’s a big difference between thinking someone is likeable and being willing to vote for them to run the country. Palin’s never been particularly unlikeable – her problem has always been a) her “us v. them” hyper-partisanship and b) lacking command over the issues. a) is not insurmountable as far as electability is concerned, but b) is. If she wants to have a shot at the presidency in 2012, she needs to demonstrate that she’s knowledgeable about a wide range of issues. She should put out several detailed plans for things like health care, foreign policy, the budget, etc. over the next year or so if she’s serious about running – the platitudes, Facebook missives, and tweets she’s given us over the past couple of years isn’t gonna cut it with the electorate.

  2. That’s odd Jeff, cause platitudes were fine when they were “Hope” and “Change” and “We are the ones we’ve been waiting for”. but if it’s a conservative woman suddenly empty rhetoric just won’t fly. And exactly what, as a nation, have we gained by electing an inexperienced community organizer President? A man who not only never held an actual job, but who has displayed no notable ability to govern let alone lead. The ability to be a good President is the ability to know you don’t know everything. Ego can propel one into politics but ego cannot propel one into success. Only hard work can do that. Palin is a hard worker.

  3. The more hate and vitriol the Left spews against Sarah Palin the more Americans see how
deranged and duplicitous they truly are, and how honest and forthright she is by comparison.

  4. But, ropelight, I’ve already stated that I want Palin to be President. I hope she becomes President, I hope she has a compliant Congress, and I hope her policies are enacted in full. I hope you get precisely what you’re asking for, and I hope you get it good and hard.

  5. Nobody has been more vilified in the past two years than Sarahcuda.

And this is factually incorrect. Note who wrote it.

Consider – Obama has been called a Kenyan, a Marxist, a fascist, a socialist, been portrayed as an African witchdoctor, been called a Nazi…

Would anyone care to state out loud that Palin had been more vilified than Obama over the last two years?

  6. Vilify: To make vicious and defamatory statements about.

Defamatory: false or unjustified injury of the good reputation of another.

    What’s false about:

Sarah isn’t smart enough. Sarah is a quitter. Sarah isn’t qualified.

Those are all opinions, but with many bits of supporting evidence. Here’s what’s said about Obama:

Obama is Hitler. Obama is a Nazi. Obama is a Socialist. Obama is a Communist. Obama is a Maoist. Obama is a fascist. Obama wants to enslave you. Obama wants to kill your grandma. Obama wants control over all industry.

No one has ever provided any evidence in support of any of these claims, including Obama. If he did have nefarious plans, wouldn’t being elected President have been a good time to start employing those plans? Or is D-Day always next week?

  7. Palin has clearly been vilified more than Obama over the last two years.

This is factually incorrect, as Nangleator has demonstrated.

You may want to read this and this, since you seem unfamiliar with either.

  8. Depressing, Phoenician. Perhaps we’ll soon have laws about Pi being equal to eleven, and all textbooks being based on the Left Behind series.

  9. More information is slowly coming out on Jared Loughner. Using the screen name, Erad3, Loughner posted at “Above Top Secret,” a site for alternative thinkers, perhaps a few of the Lefty commenters here are familiar with the site.

An overview of his comments reveals that he’s angry, unbalanced and becoming more so over time, obsessed with certain topics, and that he hates authority, especially Christianity. Sound a bit familiar?

I hope not. We’ve already had Freud and Margaret Mead; fantasists of an only slightly more persuasive kind.

  11. The spotlight is beginning to illuminate the curious background of Mr James Eric Fuller. A search of public records shows that one Prince Eric Fuller, once convicted of 3rd degree sodomy, changed his first name to James in November ’97 in Pima County, Arizona.

Fuller’s extraordinarily rapid recovery from his alleged wounds is also rather curious. Pictures of his wounds are not consistent with gun shots, they appear to be lineal, clean and surgical rather then the rounded and irregular punctures characteristic of bullet wounds.

Anyone shot in the leg, and especially in the knee area usually requires several weeks of recovery, including time on crutches, before venturing out.

It’s possible Eric Fuller is a Lefty fraud. Tape of the shooting may prove his presence, but it’s also possible his wounds are self-inflicted and he’s just another unhinged Leftist using the tragedy for his own selfish motives. Time will tell.

    Uh-huh.

So, let’s play a game of fill in the blanks. I will start:

If Sarah Palin were black she would have disappeared into obscurity long ago.

If Sarah Palin were black, her daughter’s out of wedlock, “baby daddy drama” would have been presented as an example of both pathological behavior and a dysfunctional family that is symbolic of the social problems in that community. If Sarah Palin were black, never would the poor decision making by the Palin family be marked off as challenges overcome, or deeds to be valorized.

If Sarah Palin were black, her neo-secessionist husband would have been the death knell for her political career, because as we all know you can’t trust “those people.”

If Sarah Palin were black, her lack of intellectual curiosity, willful and cultivated ignorance, and lack of grace both written and spoken, would not be taken as “folksy.” Instead, Palin would be viewed as unqualified for any public office.

If Sarah Palin were black she would be tarred and feathered as an “affirmative action baby.”

Yes, too soon to know. But given the track record of lefty cause celebres, with a notable number of them turning out to be based on self-inflicted damage, it’s worth keeping track of. He may be another Tawana Brawley or Ahmad Saad Nasim, or not. As you say, time will tell.
