President Bush and the Republicans spent way, way, way too much money, but when it comes to spending, they were bush leaguers — pun intended — compared to President Obama and the Democrats.

Art said, "Palin is a public figure and malice would have to be proven."

Tough job, like showing that day follows night or that water is wet. Lawyers get paid to make the obvious seem complex, but the malice visited on Palin and her family is as clear as the nose on your face, and anyone who denies it isn't being honest.

How much can we take?

Dull Dole and 'shenuter' McCain were illustrative of just how far out of touch the Republican establishment has been with conservatives. They kidded themselves into believing the two Bush Jr. wins were a mandate when in fact the simple truth was the Democratic candidates were so unacceptably worse. So folks went to the poles wearing clothespins.

The establishment Palin's bucking, which I agree with (Sarah that is), are the same guys who think this "Reaching across the aisle" shit's the way to go, when it's just a daily sellout of our liberties and freedoms. The same bunch of time-serving hacks who continue to allow a 17th priority line item like abortion to come front and center every campaign so folks can equate anti-abortionists with the religious zealots on the far wacko right and turn off to real issues like the economy, taxation, defense and education.

Hey Establishment! Here's a few new thoughts:

1. Most of us conservatives are not single-issue voters. If you keep doing this you will lose.

2. We elected you to cut spending, taxes, and the size of government, not increase them. If you keep doing this you will lose.

3. We elected you to ensure our rights and laws are protected and abided by in accordance with the U.S. Constitution. If you continue to fail you will lose.

I'm behind Sarah, at least from the standpoint it's time to "Change the status quo" as McCain once said. Only the status quo I'm thinking of doesn't include him or any of the other sellout RINOS. As Uncle Ted once said, "It's RINO season", and all the scumbags, like the 8 sellouts who voted for that piece of crap energy bill, need to be skinned and mounted to give real conservatives something to hang their hats on.
